Our current transportation system is wrong because we followed profits, not efficiency.

Profitable businesses cause efficiency in many places but but in transportation profit is in speed, and speed doesn’t scale up well.

We need to go back to trains. They will be fast trains, but slower than the jets.

I’m tired of our current transportation system. Commercial travel is not fun anymore.

We’re all crammed in to these tin cans, and we’re gonna get charged for the bathroom soon, I’m telling you.

I think We the Next Generation of American Leaders need to build the Transportation system we want and stop worrying about sunk costs.

Sunk costs are a fallacy. Period.

So we chose wrong with domestic air travel.

Well let’s build a domestic Passenger Train system that Works for the American people.

Does anyone not in first class enjoy flying?

I think the Train system of 2050 USA is going to be amazing. NY to LA in 10 hours each way. It’s better if you do it in a Week though, you stop at so many cute little towns that you can spend the night on a whim then catch the next days train because the US Railroad will be Free for everyone. And we’ll pay for it because the Premise of my campaign is we need to Rethink Cost.
