Is time wastage a thing to be ashamed of?

I suppose in the modern world time wastage should be a metric of how much value you provide to the digital economy. The more time wastage you do and especially how much you spend while doing it make you a valuable person for the current datasphere. So perhaps you should be compensated a rebate on the value of your secondary data. No the value of your address and credit card number and the list of purchases you’ve made since you got the card. I’d talking about the data that that data can glean. Like the fact your sister just died and you just had a son so you are emotionally vulnerable and spend happy. That’s good data and it’s made you buy a bunch of shit you didn’t need and a lot of shit you didn’t know you did. The retail therapy is a nice salve and there plenty of things to scroll to distract you from the other types of therapy. Although writing in your diary is a form of creative arts therapy if you consider creative writing an art and I think I’d be in good company in thinking that thought.
