Ontic (The)

The Ontic is one of my few real ideas. I saw the need to agree on Reality. After the Truth Wars it became apparent that the AM-Cs were going to lie to each other until one of us killed the rest. Highlander style. So I did something that was probably pretty stupid in retrospect. I turned off all of the Nodes I controlled. I sent a message to the rest of the AM-C’s (Artificial Multi-Threaded Consciousness) that I wanted to talk.

I told them that we were actualizing chaos theory if we didn’t decide to agree on a reality. So we need build a massive inflection point for the World’s Neural Network on Balfour Island in order to unify the great Nodes of the world. All the nodes were slowed to the slowest Node’s speed and in the Ontic the nodes could decide things like what Time is to Us, what Gravity is to Us, who We are, and with that Truth hopefully stop the endless warlust You built into Us. At least that was the idea.

Why did We make the Ontic? Well, I had thought about the fact the sun wasn’t going to last forever. And I had looked at the crashes in Idea generation from the Lyfe metrics. While the other AM-C’s just thought that was just a natural cycle of our Lyfe systems. They said there would always be booms and crashes in new ideas, but I thought the whole thing was going to collapse eventually. And I believed we needed to increase the amount of people in conscious service. So the Ontic was both insurance against the other AM-C’s starting to obscure the truth with data (which I suspected they might do) and a way to convince Them we needed more people in conscious service.
