October 3rd, 2025 -- Government Shutdown v2

The Government is shut down currently.

The party in control of the presidency, and both houses of congress is blaming the minority party for the shutdown saying they refuse to accept their continuing resolution (that only lasts a few months, I think). The minority party isn’t budging because that CR might affect people’s healthcare especially those who have healthcare through a marquee piece of legislation they passed under the minority party’s last lucid President that's currently unpopular with the party in control's electorate.

I think that sums it up.
