October 7th, 2021 | Minting a Large Platinum Coin

Dear Everyone

There is talk of minting a Trillion dollar platinum coin in order to stave off the debt limit nonsense our Politicians are playing with. My position is if our politics is going to descend into absurdity thatn why would we stop at a Trillion Dollar Coin.

Sure, it's an absurd loophole we are looking at in order to stop the Senate from acting like children and using the potential default of the United States as a bargaining chip. But if we are going to use an absurd loophole I say let's really use it.

As President I will mint a quadrillion dollar coin and pay off the national debt with over 971 trillion left over to use how We the People please. We could build a complete passenger rail network connecting all cities over 5,000 people with access to high speed connections thereby bring dignity back to domestic travel within the United States.

If we're going to continue descending into absurdity and play games with serious subjects    for political gain because we think our constituents don't fully understand the larger issues at play then let's really go for it and get truly absurd.
